How Growing Thyme Cooking Sprouted

Growing Thyme Cooking started as Little Sprouts Cooking in 2016. Nellie Johnston, the owner and founder, has a passion for teaching nutrition and cooking to kids. Being a mother of four, and with a background in sports medicine and nutrition, she understands that developing a healthy relationship with food is vital for a happy life. 

With this in mind, we have developed a kid friendly, nutrition-based cooking curriculum. We have six courses, five are nutrition-based cooking courses focusing on different topics and one is a basic nutrition course. All courses are available as a print or PDF copy. We are expanding our offerings to include  an online course version for those who do better with guided learning. Our first online course will be our Healthy Snacks course and will be available March 2024. We hope to release the rest of the courses in online format, spaced out over the next six months.
